Contractor List

Land managers often know what needs to be done on their land, but sometimes that work can’t be accomplished alone. In those instances, it is necessary to hire contractors to complete a project. That may involve the removal of woody plants either mechanically (skidsteers, dozers, etc,) or by chemical application (spot spraying or aerial spraying), as well as assisting with a prescribed burn.

Finding a company or someone who has worked in your area, possibly for a neighbor, is a great way to find a contractor. You can also search our contractor list below. To get started, filter by area and management practice for potential contractors and their contact information. Once you identify a potential contractor, be sure to discuss all aspects of the project and what to expect. Some sample questions are listed on the mechanical control page.
